Sensible Prices

This is why you are going to get a super deal. All the Ghosts love to stitch, it's their hobby. For them, it just doesn't get any better than being paid a fee, (even a small one) for participating in their favorite pastime.

Needlework "Starving Artist" Stitching Prices

Knitting .0050 to .0100 Per Stitch

Plus nominal fees are added to help offset the cost of sending each project to a Ghost for stitching, back to our office for inspection, and ultimately to you. Per stitch is per actual stitch, not to be confused with the stitch count. A substantial discount is calculated for larger pieces.

Crochet .0063 to .0113 Per Stitch
Cross Stitch Stamped .0113 to .0163 Per Stitch
Cross Stitch Counted .0138 to .0188 Per Stitch
Needlepoint Painted .0150 to .0200 Per Stitch
Needlepoint Charted .0188 to .0238 Per Stitch
Hand Embroidery .0175 to .0225 Per Stitch
Crewel .0175 to .0225 Per Stitch
Pulled Threads .0225 to .0275 Per Stitch
Hardanger .0250 to .0300 Per Stitch

So What's With the Price "Range"?

Needlework projects are true "works of art", and as such, must be considered individually. Each must be examined by one or more of our office staff in order to determine what is necessary, and whom among our artists is best suited to produce the desired end result. Therefore, it is required that we physically inspect each piece in order to ascertain a cost quotation and a time estimate. Only the original chart, pattern, or kit can be used for preparing a quotation, and/or for stitching. Using copies would constitute an infringement upon the rights of the Designer.L

How Is the Exact Price Determined?

Thank goodness computers are available for math calculations. Each of the items listed below will influence where a particular project will fall within the price range shown for each type of work. While the mathematics involved is a bit complicated, the primary factor remains the number of actual stitches. No, each stitch is not counted one at a time. Again, most of the credit goes to a computer application. The "stitch count" is not used at all for determining costs or time estimates.
